Frank Good builders went above and beyond in the way that they made us feel valued. They truly care about their clients' happiness and do everything they can to make the budget fit the dream. The planning phase went very smoothly. It was harder than we thought to finalize exactly what we wanted, and we often changed our minds last minute, but Frank and Seth were always gracious to let us figure out what our forever home would look like. They often offered suggestions that they thought would enhance the functionality or look of the house. We were very grateful for their expertise. Having Brittney as a design resource made the whole project extra special. She is so knowledgeable and has best interest of the clients in mind when helping them select items. We built our home at the onset of the COVID pandemic, yet they did not let the bumps in the road delay our home or compromise our design. They worked to overcome the challenges thrown at them and surpassed our expectations. We were very pleased with the Good's workmanship. They completed each phase in a timely manner and used quality materials. We could not believe how quickly we started seeing our dreams become reality after we broke ground. Each time we asked them to add or change something, they did so with a smile on their faces. We love how family oriented the Goods are. Our five and six-year-old children were always included. The kids got to come watch Frank run the excavator or see the cranes put up the trusses. They were allowed to put their hand prints in the wet cement and write Bible verses on their unfinished wall. It was magical for them to see the building process, and we are thankful that the Goods realized that the house they were building would be a forever home for our children. Frank, Seth, Brittney and their crew are very easy to get along with. They are trustworthy, reliable, and honest to complete exactly what they say they will do. We enjoyed our interactions with them from start to finish!

For us this was all about the dream we had for our forever home. We had a very specific vision for the home we wanted to raise our family in and we weren’t finding it (at least in our budget). So we decided to design and build it.When looking for a builder it was very important to us to find a builder who would do his best to keep us in budget. It was also important to us to find a builder who used high quality materials and had high standards for craftsmanship. However, above all else, we were searching for principled, candid honesty about the budget, timeline, and feasibility of our ideas.We chose FGB because they seemed most committed to helping us achieve our goal of building a beautiful house at a price point we could afford. They came highly recommended and after meeting with Seth we were certain that FGB was a company we could trust and rely on. Working with Seth and Frank it was Easy to communicate with them they are honest and kind. They are the sort of people you feel perfectly at ease with and confident that a handshake is as good as a contract cut in stone. We visited the property frequently during construction and Frank was often here first thing in the morning, sometimes even on weekends. They were very flexible and responsive to our questions and concerns and were always willing to make things work to make sure we were happy clients. In any construction project there will be unforeseen situations. Frank and Seth always rolled with the punches and worked well "outside the box" to make sure we were happy. We would 10/10 recommend working with frank Good builders. They built us the home of our dreams and we are enjoying so much living here as a family.

Some friends reccommended FGB to me. Within 24 hours I had a response and within 2 weeks I had a meeting, a 12-page itemized estimate, and a 4-page list of ways to save money on the original estimate. From the get go, Seth was efficient and creative and I felt it was truly a design partnership. As the project moved forward, I worked a lot with Frank. Frank likes being in the middle of the project and he has many years of experience. This was another thing that impressed me was that Frank and/or Tray were on site much of the time which made me feel more confident that the work was being done correctly. All along the way, Frank would suggest changes that ultimately were very wise. Working with Seth on the design was fun. I had a plan, but also had specific changes I wanted to make. He put me in touch with Chad Hodges, who came to my house and we were able very quickly to come up with a final design that I liked and made changes that I would not have thought of, but made it a better house for me. They are very kind, honest, and positive people. They are very meticulous with great attention to detail and quality work. Britney would go with me to subcontractor meetings if you wanted and discuss choices with you if you wanted. They expect the best from all of their subcontractors and see that it is done. I think people who choose to be their own contractor are probably shooting themselves in the foot in this department.

I was overwhelmed and couldn't find anyone to build my house but the Lord sent Frank and Seth my way. They care about their customers. They guided me through the whole process, they always answered the phone, I never had to wait for an answer. The whole team listens to you and cares for you. I highly recommend Frank Good Builders. Frank and Seth are top notch builders and great friends . We were rebuilding from the Tornado in Elon. They understood our tight timeline , and worked with us to have the home finished in a timely manner. We had a large wish list and Seth worked with us to get our must haves within our budget. Their professionalism and attention to detail is great. There were several details in our new home they suggested which turned out awesome . With FGB you are getting years of experience in knowing how to do the job right the first time.

We recently moved into our home built by Frank and Seth, and we are so in love with everything about it. The process of planning and building went very smoothly, and we absolutely loved working with them. They communicated in an extremely timely manner when we reached out to them with questions. Also, we loved how organized they were with the estimated cost and any changes made throughout the process. We received a very detailed estimate so that there was no question as to what the final cost came from. It was outlined with which items we had control over in terms of price depending on choices we made (i.e. appliances, flooring, cabinetry, garage door, etc.) If we chose to go over budget on any item, it was clearly communicated through a document that was sent to us via email and then we signed. We appreciated this so much because it kept us from having any surprises at the end related to cost.It is very evident that Frank and Seth take great pride in their work. The quality of everything they do is excellent, and if anything doesn't seem to be right, they fix it immediately. They are both very kind and honest, and we enjoyed having regular interaction with them. Even many of the sub-contractors we interacted with told us how we had chosen the best builders and reinforced how much they loved working with them. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone. They are wonderful builders and all-around awesome people!

Throughout this whole process, Seth has been excellent at communicating, answering every question we have and kept us on track with everything and made it as stress free as possible. I wish there was a 10/10 on here! I found Frank and Seth after we lost everything in the April 15th tornado in Amherst County. They were zero pressure and just wanted to help us with whatever we needed, whether they built our house or not. We never met with another builder. When we began the process of selecting a builder for the construction of our retirement home, one of the questions we asked was “What sets you apart from other builders?” Seth responded, “Christian principles.” We learned long ago that Christian values create a strong foundation so, it made perfect sense to select Frank Good Builders to build our home! From breaking ground and raising the roof to settling into our new home, transparency was evident and there were no surprises along the way. The FGB team is comprised of an array of personalities ranging from Frank’s subtle humor to Trey’s genuine charm, which made connecting with the entire team FUN and EASY! Their communication on all levels was exemplary throughout the building process from promptly answering e-mails, texts, and phone calls to stopping whatever they were doing on site to talk with us. In addition, the Builder Trend program was an informative way to keep us posted on progress and a simple format for making selections. Our building experience was exciting from the very beginning! It began with Seth’s announcement of their readiness to break ground in December – an early Christmas gift. Bob and I agreed prior to building that we were going to listen to the professionals. Hence, when Seth and Britney recommended the option of a vaulted ceiling for our great room, we quickly realized this would significantly enhance the heart of our home! The elation did not stop here – FGB was ahead of what we anticipated throughout the process due to Seth’s organizational skills of scheduling subcontractors and as Trey would say, he and Frank would focus on “keeping up, not catching up”! There weren’t any zero days – someone was always working on our project even if it was behind the scenes. Each and every subcontractor we came in contact with had nothing but high praise for Frank. They enjoyed working for Frank, commented on the high quality of Frank’s homes, and mentioned he did not cut corners. Their comments solidified our choice of Frank Good Builders! When it came to selections, Britney was a HUGE blessing throughout the process. Per our request, she did the work in limiting our choices to selections that would coordinate and fit our style as well as our budget. This contributed to a stress free, enjoyable building process. Britney worked extremely hard for us and we couldn’t help but smile when she said, “This is my dream job!” The work ethic of each member of the FGB team was exceptional. They worked long hours late into the evenings, weekends and even several hours each day while on vacation. We couldn’t have asked for a more dedicated group of individuals to build our retirement home. Receiving our certificate of occupancy in just 6 ½ months was contributed to the team working together with a common goal of homeowners satisfaction. The FGB team has found the perfect balance of technology, interpersonal skills, and core values. They definitely live up to their name – GOOD!
