The FGB Promise, In Writing

The Frame to Finish™ Warranty

Because the job isn’t finished when we hand you the keys.

Most builders move on after closing. We designed Frame to Finish™ so the relationship doesn’t — a standard commitment on every home that protects your investment and your peace of mind for years after move-in.

What Makes It Different

We don’t sell a warranty. We stand behind a home.

Anyone can print a coverage list. What sets Frame to Finish™ apart isn’t the fine print — it’s who’s on the other end of the phone when you need something.

Relationships, not transactions

We answer the phone after move-in the same way we did the day you signed.

Craftsmanship worth standing behind

Built right the first time with the best methods and materials available.

Accountability in writing

Our promise is documented, not implied — the same standard on every home.

Service that doesn't expire

One team, one number, here long after the keys change hands.

The One Call Promise

When something comes up after move-in, you shouldn’t have to wonder who to call.

You call Frank Good Builders.

We built it. We know it. And we coordinate everyone it takes to make it right — so you never chase a subcontractor or a manufacturer again.

01

Something needs attention — A question, a settling crack, an appliance hiccup — whatever it is.

02

You make one call — No subcontractor roulette. No manufacturer hold music. Just us.

03

We coordinate the rest — We track it down, bring the right people, and follow it through.

Why It Matters

A warranty is only as good as the builder behind it.

Your home is likely the largest investment you’ll ever make. A promise to protect it means little unless someone genuinely answers when you call.

Since 1991, Frank Good Builders has built its name in Central Virginia on a quiet, durable idea: do the work heartily, and stand behind it. Frame to Finish™ simply puts that promise in writing.

Responsive, organized, transparent and professional. The house was finished on time despite the many modifications we made along the way. We wholeheartedly recommend them.

Common Questions

Frame to Finish™, explained.

What does the Frame to Finish™ Warranty cover?
At a high level, it protects the materials and workmanship of your home from the frame to the final finish, includes long-term structural protection, and coordinates your manufacturer warranties. The full, itemized terms are in the warranty guide we review with you.
How long does coverage last?
Coverage is tiered. Whole-home assurance covers your first years after move-in, while structural protection extends for a decade. We’ll walk you through exactly how each layer applies to your home.
How do I request warranty service?
You make one call to Frank Good Builders. That’s the whole process. We identify what’s needed, bring the right people, and follow it through to resolution.
What isn’t covered?
Routine homeowner maintenance and normal wear are the homeowner’s responsibility, as with any warranty. We’re happy to walk through the specifics so there are no surprises — clarity is part of the promise.
How does the one-time cosmetic point-up work?
Every home settles in its first year. We schedule a single courtesy visit to address minor cosmetic items from that settling, so your home looks its best.
What if a manufacturer warranty applies?
We coordinate it for you. Rather than tracking down a window or appliance manufacturer yourself, you call us and we manage it on your behalf.
Is the structural warranty transferable?
Yes. Long-term structural protection is designed to transfer to a future owner, which can add real value if you ever decide to sell.
Is the warranty included on every home?
Yes — Frame to Finish™ is standard on every new Frank Good Builders home. It isn’t an upsell; it’s how we build.
